QA Test Engineer – Automation & AI-Based Testing

Job Title

We are seeking a forward-thinking QA Test Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in test automation and AI-powered quality engineering. This role is ideal for someone who’s ready to go beyond manual scripting and embrace AI/ML-driven testing strategies, self-healing automation, and NLP-based test case generation.

At Atcuality, you’ll ensure quality across next-gen EHR systems, multi-agent AI apps, and fintech/crypto platforms, while maintaining regulatory standards like HIPAA and HITRUST.

This position is based in Jamshedpur, with flexibility for hybrid work.

 Key Responsibilities Test Automation & Framework Development

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API layers
• Create data-driven, keyword-driven, and self-healing automation scripts
• Utilize tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Implement test case versioning and traceability across releases

AI-Based Testing Implementation

• Use AI tools (Applitools, Testim, Mabl, Functionize, Test.ai) for:
• Visual UI validation
• Intelligent test generation
• NLP-based test extraction from user stories
• Predictive analytics for risk-based testing
• Detect anomalies in application behavior and auto-generate test datasets
• Implement AI-in-the-loop QA strategies with LLM and test prioritization algorithms

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Create comprehensive test strategies for healthcare systems
• Perform PHI-secure testing in compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST
• Validate access control, encryption, and audit logs
• Conduct WCAG accessibility testing using automation tools
• Maintain regulatory-grade test documentation and traceability matrices

Testing Excellence

• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and chaos testing
• Test across devices, platforms, and browsers using tools like BrowserStack/Sauce Labs
• Validate APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or Karate
• Implement load/stress testing using JMeter, Gatling, or K6
• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution using modern bug trackers

Collaboration & Innovation

• Collaborate with frontend/backend teams for shift-left QA
• Partner with DevOps to embed QA in the release pipeline
• Mentor junior QAs on test automation and AI-based QA practices
• Research emerging QA tech (e.g., GenAI in testing, intelligent agents)
• Present testing metrics and AI-driven QA insights to stakeholders

Required Qualifications Technical Skills

• 3–5 years of QA experience with:
• 2+ years in automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Experience with AI testing tools (Applitools, Testim, Mabl, Test.ai, etc.)
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
• API testing via Postman, REST Assured, Supertest
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Version control using Git

Core Competencies

• Expertise in testing methodologies (TDD, BDD, risk-based testing)
• Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber, SpecFlow, Jest
• Strong grasp of performance testing and system observability
• Testing microservices, asynchronous systems, and distributed architectures
• Containerized testing environments using Docker and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare domain experience, especially EHR, telehealth, or clinical automation
• HIPAA compliance knowledge and secure test data management
• Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, DICOM, and medical device testing (IEC 62304)
• Experience with cloud testing tools: AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs, BrowserStack
• Mobile automation using Appium, XCUITest, Espresso
• Security testing using OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar tools
• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals for integrating into QA strategy
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
